The Port Renfrew Marina has been a long time gathering place for campers and fisherman over the years. Anyone who has enjoyed visiting Port Renfrew and the surrounding wilderness area can appreciate coming back again and again. The fantastic salmon fishing off the Swiftsure Bank, easily within a couple hours reach from Port Renfrew has made this area a world famous trophy fishing paradise. Fishing charters from around Vancouver Island bring their boats here for the summer for only one reason, unbelivable fishing! Other "top shelf" attractions include the rugged and sometimes treacherous West Coast Trail which draws visitors from all corners of the earth. The world famous Botanical Beach brings visitors interested in marine biology and the geophysical wonders that surround the area. We are very fortunate to be able to access this playground so close to our homes and share with each other and our families a natural gift right here in our own back yards. It has been anothere great year for fishing and gathering with friends in Port Renfrew. It was also a great finish to a perfect summer!
